The frame of reference, the interpretations, the beliefs, the multiple ways of expressing themselves or listening to each other, the visions and values of each are all elements that can make basic communication a challenge. These factors can lead to a conflict escalation from a simple disagreement to the breakdown of dialogue and even to violence.
